We here at Surge FM are all about promoting as much independent music as humanly possible. So why not join in on our cause by submitting your music today!

What are the requirements to submit music?

For starters, you must be a truly independent artist whether unsigned or signed to an independent label. Secondly, all submissions must be on audio cd & of broadcast quality. Lastly all music must be mailed in.

Where do I send music to?

Please fill out the contact form found in the main menu & we will send you the address.

What else can/should I send?:

We would appreciate if you send any promotional material that can be used on the site whether it be press kits, images, etc...

Why can't I send music via e-mail or links to my social networking profiles?:

We do not want submissions via e-mail as they tend to clog up mailbox space & cause problems with messages arriving. Also since we want to use .wav files to source the broadcast, they would be too big to send via e-mail.

As much as we would like to sit down & listen to music on social networking sites all day, it is just not possible. If we receive unsolicited music or links to check out websites via e-mail, they will be ignored & deleted.

Is acceptance guaranteed?

We are very open to the type of music we play. With that in mind, not all music will be added to our rotation. This does not mean your music is not good, it is just that it did not fit the current channels in place. As time goes by, channels tailoring to other genres will be created & any submissions that fit will be added.

As you release new music, we would appreciate if you updated us by sending it in to be added to the rotation. This also goes for any important news like press releases, new music being released, photos, etc...
